Queanbeyan-Palerang Council’s Axis Youth Centre is running a coffee training program to teach young people the art of coffee. The program is running at the Storybook Cafe in the Queanbeyan Library.
Over the three-month program, the trainees will learn barista skills. They will also learn about the maintenance and servicing of equipment, plus front of house skills and customer services etiquette.
After the training, the program will support trainees in updating their resumes, as well as in finding employment in the hospitality industry.
