Waverley Library is a public library located in the suburb of Bondi Junction, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was officially opened in 2003 and is known for its modern and spacious facilities.
The library offers a wide range of services and resources to its patrons, including books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, and access to computers and the internet. It also features study rooms, meeting rooms, and a children’s area, making it a popular destination for leisure and educational purposes.
Waverley Library has been a long-term customer of Libero and recently renewed its contract to use Libero’s cloud-based library management system [LMS]. Their catalogue can be viewed on this link.
Recently, we were delighted when Roniet Meyerthal, Senior Coordinator Business & Services, gave us a video testimonial. In the video, Roniet talks about her experience with Libero and explains why Waverley Library chose Libero’s innovative library management system. Below are some extracts:
“We found that the system that allowed us the greatest parameterisation and therefore customisation was Libero and that it had logical workflows for the staff as well as having a customisable, user-friendly OPAC for our public as well.”
“We love the fact that Libero can integrate with third-party products. The fact that it can integrate with our Bibliotheca RFID system, our Monitor system as well as applications such as OverDrive and BorrowBox and so many more is a huge plus for us and our public.”
“Since we have moved to the cloud environment that has been a big boost, we have no technical problems whatsoever. The IT staff at the council love it, the fact that they don’t have any involvement.”
“Support is wonderful because it’s very timely – we are a seven-day operation. I can pick up the phone or email at any time of the day, any day of the week, and I know that there will be somebody on the other end to help us should we need it.”
