For nearly 30 years, Wentworth Shire Libraries has used LIBERO, a library management system (LMS) designed and built in-house by Australian company, Insight Informatics.
Wentworth Shire Libraries, Team Leader Library Services, Emma Holgate said the ease of the LMS upgrades was a major factor in deciding to switch to the hosted solution of LIBERO Cloud.
“The main advantage was the ease of upgrades,” said Emma.
“Having branches spread across a vast area, I knew LIBERO Cloud would make managing the LMS across our branches much easier with the automatic upgrades.”
“With other impressive features like relevance search, full text searching in documentation, and reporting functionality, I certainly wasn’t interested in looking at other LMS’s when considering a hosted solution.”
Although relatively new to her role at Wentworth Shire Libraries, Emma has been impressed with the flexibility of the LMS that benefits all its branches.
“I’ve been super impressed with the LIBERO support. Whenever I have a problem, one of the support team is there with a speedy response to help me,” Emma continued.
“Something I think is vital for our Library Services’ LMS is meeting the different needs for all our branches. The LIBERO team has been responsive to our needs and catered for our suggestions.”
