Customise the Libero 6 Discovery experience
Tailor the system to your library’s branding, navigation, and member experience preferences providing:
- Easy access: Access the platform via your library’s Discovery URL.
- Customised branding: Styled to reflect your library’s identity, including custom banners and primary colours for menus and buttons.
- Dynamic landing page: The landing page showcases a carousel of new items and an overview of the Discovery and Member Portal features. These can be tailored to meet your library’s specific needs.
- Intuitive navigation: The menu includes links to the core Discovery pages for easy navigation, which can be adjusted based on your preferences.
- Preconfigured membership forms: Default forms for joining, editing accounts, and adding family members are set up in your system and can be customised as needed.
- Search display: The order of the Refine Results groups is customisable, and the default search result grouping method is set to Title/Author.
- Automated content harvesting: The system automatically harvests content nightly from your library catalogue, as well as from content providers such as BorrowBox, Indyreads and OverDrive.
New Library Branch feature
Additionally, the new Library Branches feature makes it simpler to check location information of available items and access branch details. It includes:
- Interactive branch cards: Members can click on a branch card to view a detailed page that includes essential information such as public notes, address, phone number, email, and opening hours.
- Location map: A map [example below] is integrated on each branch’s details page, allowing members to easily locate the branch and see its surroundings.
