LIBERO by Insight Informatics was the proud sponsor of the New South Wales Public Library Association’s, SWITCH 2017 inaugural Exhibitors and Sponsors Dinner.
Those who attended were part of SWITCH Conference history as the dinner was the first in what will become an integral part of future SWITCH conference programmes.
LIBERO’s Business Development Manager, Alina Radbone said it was appropriate that LIBERO, as NSW’s most popular LMS system for Public Libraries, sponsored this event.
“LIBERO has contributed to the growth and development of library software for many years, and we are proud of our contribution to the industry,” said Alina.
“Hosting the dinner gave us an opportunity to participate in a fun, social event with our NSW customers and our prospects, as well as with all the other suppliers.”
Robert Knight, Convener of SWITCH 2017 and Executive Director at Riverina Regional Library said it was extremely important to recognise the importance of the suppliers.
“The SWITCH Conference Committee instigated this new event on the SWITCH social program in recognition of the importance of our suppliers,” said Robert.
“Not only do they [sponsors] provide significant financial support to the Conference, but are also integral to the effective operation of the NSW public library network.
“Libraries would find it difficult to function without shelving, furniture, collection resources, library management systems, and associated technologies, and so many other products and services.”
The dinner included prize draws, the Libellous LIBERO Limericks competition, and guest cruise ship comedian, Moira Doyle.
