“LIBERO is built on a new, modern database that will continue to move forward as a library solution”
Shire of Narrogin Library has chosen LIBERO Cloud to manage its library resources.
LIBERO’s ability to enable any branch (or any library in a LIBERO consortia) to have independent business rules was an important factor.
“Narrogin Library is seen by the locals as more of a community centre and is a place of information and security as well as books and DVDs” said Narrogin Library Manager, Kay Weaver.
Another key part of the Shire of Narrogin’s decision to choose LIBERO Cloud was the way that it has been built from the ground up.
“LIBERO is built on a new, modern database that will continue to move forward as a library solution,” Kay continued.
“LIBERO Clouds immediate upgrades will continue to improve the product as part of the package.”
The Shire of Narrogin Library has excelled in its work with the community, winning awards for public health advocacy for the promotion of children’s health and education.
This has sparked a new activity about to launch in the library, CoderDojo, where children will be able to learn how to code.
The Shire of Narrogin Library staff are looking forward to an exciting time implementing LIBERO and providing a future focus for the Narrogin library.
