Digital ID For Libraries, Digital ID Verification now available with Libero

For its Australian customers, Libero’s Library Management System [LMS] has introduced digital ID verification. New library members are now able to identify themselves using the Australia Post Digital ID Service.

The Australia Post Digital ID Service is a secure digital identity platform that allows Australian residents to create and use a government-verified digital identity to access a range of online services. Users can create a Digital ID by verifying their identity with Australia Post, either online or in person at a participating Post Office. The Digital ID Service is built on a secure platform protecting privacy, using the latest encryption and security technologies to protect user data.

Digital ID verification offers a range of benefits:

  • Enhanced Security: digital ID verification provides a higher level of security than traditional identity verification methods, including physical documents or signatures.
  • Improved Convenience: digital ID verification enables faster and easier access to library services online, without the need for face-to-face identity checks.
  • Better User Experience: a more seamless and integrated user experience, enabling individuals to access services more quickly and easily.

Digital ID verification adds to Libero’s strict physical and data security standards that comply with stringent privacy regulations, delivering additional protection and benefits to customers and new members.

“We are thrilled to be providing digital ID verification as we continue to support libraries in delivering the best possible member experience”, says John Thompson, CEO.
