Insight Informatics, leading provider of LIBERO – the internationally recognised library software, was a proud Exhibitor at the Australian Pacific Library and Information Conference (APLIC) 2018.

The first joint conference between ALIA, LIANZA and LAS brought together colleagues and new friends from throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

“There were some excellent speakers at this year’s conference,” said LIBERO’s Business Development Manager, Alina Radbone.

“Their passion and steadfastness came through their presentations leaving you feeling invigorated”.

With overseas guests from countries including Singapore, Papua New Guinea, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Fiji and Australia, the LIBERO Team could catch up with old and potential new customers about the exciting new developments at LIBERO HQ.

“Attendees took a real shine to our plans for LIBERO’s Business Intelligence functionality and could get sneak peak of what we feel is a huge step for Library Software,” Alina continued.

“Also, with a highly anticipated WebOPAC re design close to being released, there was certainly a buzz around the LIBERO stand.”

And it wasn’t just the LIBERO’s Development Road Map getting attendees excited at the LIBERO Stand.

“Yes, a few guests wanted to borrow the LIBERO Racing surf board that we brought over from the Gold Coast’s Kurrawa Surf Lifesaving Club.  Sam our Managing Director used it to race in the Masters Competitions in Egypt, Holland and France,” said Alina. “Some were keen to give it a go.”

“But unfortunately, the APLIC schedule was pretty packed already.  Next time maybe!”
