Anshuman has been with LIBERO for just over two months, having studied Information Technology at UQ in Brisbane previously.
As a Junior Programmer and Technical Support Consultant, he is a great addition to our development team and assists developers in all aspects of our roadmap. Originally from India, Anshuman moved to Australia in 2018 to turn his passion for IT into a career.
Anshuman, what does the role as Junior Programmer / Technical Support Consultant involve?
My primary responsibility is the backend of the LIBERO system, i.e., developing and implementing customer’s software requirements. More specifically, this involves working with code to either implement new features or analyse existing system behaviour and fix any bugs. I also work closely with the customer support team and am always on hand to help with technical issues.
Now that you have your degree in your pocket, we bet you are eager to broaden your knowledge and gain concrete experience. What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I enjoy testing and trying out different aspects of LIBERO and seeing how they work. It is a great opportunity to broaden my experience and gain an in-depth insight into the library management solution industry. I look forward to contributing towards making our customers’ experience with LIBERO the best it can be.
When you’re not programming and testing, what do you do in your spare time?
I love being active. In my free time, I often play basketball or do other sports activities.
